His face looks very serious, he wrinkle up his forehead. He looks aheadvery carefully. He sat on a piece of wood. His clothe is very thin. His pain is even more thin I can see his knee very carefully.
The other picture ( the right ) I found on : http://www.worldatlas.com/webimage/countrys/namerica/usstates/matimeln.htm In this picture John Cabot is standing in a hight place—like a platform. He is talking about something and look at the audiences. His sight is also serious and sharp. He is hold a book in his lift hand. Under his lift arm there is a big ball. I don't know what is it, maybe is a globe. There are many people listen to him. There are many books in the bottom of the picture.
2. John Cabot is Italian navigator, his Italian name is Giovanni Caboto. His was born around 1455 in Gaeta, near Naples, and was the son of a merchant. But in 1461 Cabot was living in Venice, where he became a citizen. In about 1482 he married a Venetian woman, Mattea, and they had three sons: Ludovico, Sebastiano and Sancio. He selled spices to the eastern Mediterranean, and became a professional mariner. Then, about 1490, Cabot and his family moved to Valencia in Spain because his countryman Christopher Columbus and he wanted to make a group to explore the Atlantic Ocean. The monarchs of both countries wanted to find new way to avoid avoid the Mediterranean and the virtual monopoly on the spice trade held by the Italians. In deeply religious age, Europeans wanted to spread knowledge of Christianity and to sontain spread of Islam. However, neither Portugal nor Spain was interested in John Cabot. They choose he to find the way to Asia-China. In 1497 he arrived Canada, but he through it is the eastern coast of the Asia. The next year, he arrived the land that is the eastern coast of the America. He report the England king that he found a new territory.
3. He is important in Canadian history because he found the eastern coast of American continent.
4. He left Europe because the Engliand king wants he to find a new way to sells spice to avoid avoid the Mediterranean and the virtual monopoly on the spice trade held by the Italians. And the Europeans wanted to spread knowledge of Christianity, and to contain the spread of Islam.

7. When I finished watched this clip, I learned: After Columbia found the America 5 years ago, John Cabot started to find the new land. A month laterhe found Newfoundland. They found tall trees. They saw setes where the fire made. They saw some unusual animals. When he came back He became the hero. He found the new land of England. He saw so many fish in the water in Newfoundland. Since then Newfoundland become the fishman favourite place. The next year he explored again. This time he bring 15 Indians back to his country.
